Are you ready to ask yourself

What’s next for me?

And what’s now?

As we worry about career, success, work/life balance, and relationships, we overlook what’s right here. We think about yesterday and tomorrow while the only moment that counts right now is right now. Paying attention to the present moment is the best way to explore your next step, develop a felt sense of what’s right for you.

Explore the poem by William Stafford, take some time for yourself, if you can go outside, preferably in nature. Ocean or forest would be best, but we can’t always find that easily. So make do with what you get. Don’t search; just listen. Listen to yourself. And when you’re ready, drop me a line, and we schedule a time to talk. Free from attachments, free from expectations.

I look forward to hearing from you.

The Way It Is

~ William Stafford ~

There’s a thread you follow. It goes among
things that change. But it doesn’t change.
People wonder about what you are pursuing.
You have to explain about the thread.
But it is hard for others to see.
While you hold it you can’t get lost.
Tragedies happen; people get hurt
or die; and you suffer and get old.
Nothing you do can stop time’s unfolding.
You don’t ever let go of the thread.

Take a deep breath.
Envision your thread.
