News Update May 2006
We finally moved our site to a new ISP and are installing
Wordpress Blogs for Sarah and Florian.
The design for the new site is almost ready and after
many years we hope to get the new design into production soon.
November 11, 2001
Sarah and Florian (together with their two Abyssinian
cats Rebeca and Moishe) launch a new personal space on the Web.
Although just a beginning, we created it as much for you as for
ourselves as a repository and living space. The site will grow and
change and adapt to our needs and interests. This site is intended
as a place to share with you our thoughts and ideas about our life
and our work.
The plan to build a personal space
together has been around for a long time, but it never happened.
Too many things to do.
We even got our “Villa
dei Miracoli” before we managed to build our “personal”
homepage. Over the past years, Sarah designed applications and Web
sites for Fortune 500 companies, but of course never had time to
design our own site. So here is a start: what you experience is
the design of one rainy weekend (November 10-11) with more to come.
Florian built his first “personal”
site in 1993 with a list of useful bookmarks that were in high demand
before decent search engines were available, since then we built
several sites together that you can visit in the archives, but this
is our first personal site.
We invite you to explore and participate.
We will continue to add to the site so come back often. And: let
