Florian Brody has been teaching and giving guest lectures at JohannesKepler University (JKU) [Wikipedia, English] in Linz, Austria for over 10 years and this term teaches the graduate class on E-Business Financing for the second time at the Executive Graduate Course “Digital Business Management (DBM)” jointly organized by JKU and the University of Applied Sciences, Upper Austria (FH Steyr).
Brody will teach the class partially via Adobe Connect, partially on Site at JKU and will merge his expertise in start-up development, fund-raising and marketing with start-ups and VCs in the Silicon Valley with his knowledge of the Austrian and European market. He has been teaching in the academic and business environment since 1988 and was a member of the Graduate Faculty of Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA. In 1996 he held the first Chair for Multimedia at the University for Applied Sciences in Salzburg, Austria. He is the founding president of ASCINA, the Association of Austrian Scientists and Scholars in North America and Co-Chair of the SIG on Media and Entertainment at GABA, the German American Business Association.
