Touch the Moon

Thanks to the Internet I just found out that the moon is not only full but also closer to us than it has been in years: “this evening’s moon is not only the largest for 2008 but also during the period 1993-2016,” said astrophotographer Anthony Ayiomamitis. So unless you want to wait until 2016 to get to the moon, tonight is the time to reach out if you want to check if the moon is really made of cheese.

Any reason to get out and look at the moon is a good one. I’m always amazed about all the information you can assemble from the Web.
